Teen Nail Art Night
Thursday, November 2, 9, 16, 23, 30

6:30-7:30 p.m. 
Teens 12-15. Join us in the Teen Scene to beautify your nails! Learn new techniques and patters to show off to your friends! Supplies will be provided. Email us your information to sign up today! Advisory Board

Youth Haven Drop-In
Tuesday, Nov. 7 & 21, December 5 & 19

12-3:30 p.m. 
Youth 16-24 years old can drop by the teen section for guidance and support with housing, employment, education, goal planning, emotions management and referrals to additional supports.

Teen Art Night
Tuesdays, Nov. 14 - Dec. 19
5-7 p.m.
Join us in the Teen Scene Tuesday nights to create one of a kind art pieces! We will be doing a new project each week. Please register for this six-week session.

Teen Advisory Board
Wednesday, November 22 & December 20

4-5 p.m.
The Orillia Public Library is seeking community minded youth in grades 9-12 to volunteer as part of our Teen Advisory Board.  Working with the Coordinator of Youth Services the TAB meets once a month to discuss and guide teen Library programs, encourage Library participation for youth and advocate for Library programs in the community and at school.   This is a great opportunity to earn community service hours, get involved in library projects and programs, meet new people, and be a voice for Orillia Youth.  To volunteer, fill out a Teen Volunteer Application available in the teen section of the library.

LGBTQA Youth Connection Drop-In
2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month
4-6 p.m.
Youth are welcome to join us as the Library partners with Youth Opportunities Orillia. The drop-in will be held in the program rooms on the first floor. This program is for youth 23 and under. Email Lindsey for more information.

December Fun!

Deck the Halls December Art Contest (running all of December)
Check out the library's new art contest! Its time to celebrate the art of skateboard decks! Teens can submit art pieces on skateboard decks, paper or by email!
The art will be put on display in the teen section and judged by local artists Arley Walters of Luck Devil's Tattoo Shop and Dylan Court! Winners will be chosen at the end of the month!

Stocking Stuffers
Thursdays in December (7, 14, 21)

6:30-7:30 p.m.
Join us in the Teen Scene for some holiday gift making magic! Each week we will make gifts you can personalize and take home for friends and family. Drop-in!

Make-It Monday
Monday, December 11

6-7:30 p.m.
Join us for a unique, beginner level DIY project on the second Monday of each month from 6-7:30 p.m.  This is a registered program for youth 15-25 years of age in the teen section of the library.
