Winter Reading Club
Kicks off Friday, December 21! 
Like Summer Reading Club, only shorter and colder!  This club is for ages 0-18!  Read what you want, tell our Library staff all about it, and enter to win prizes.  We have prize draws to beat the winter blues, and book wizards to find your next great read. This is a free club.  Call 705-325-2559 or email us for all the details!  This program runs until March 8th.

The Art of Storytelling with Special Guest, Susan Charters 
Saturday, January 12 
10:30-11:30 a.m. 
Join Susan Charters, from Storytellers of Canada and Storytelling Orillia, in the Children’s Department for an adventure in storytelling. Children will be delighted by the tales of Jack, the lazy, clever adventurer who takes on giants and kings. This event is drop in and free, family art activities will be set up after the performance is over.

Family Literacy Day – 20th Anniversary
Saturday, January 26

9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. 
We will be celebrating 20 years of Family Literacy Day with 20 fun and interactive activities!  Explore early literacy through storytelling, family art, puppet theatre, games, prizes and more!
