TEEN VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
The Orillia Public Library’s Teen Volunteer program is currently accepting applications for the Teen Leadership Committee (TLC). Applications for the 2024-2025 Fall/Winter program are due by Monday, August 12th, 2024 at 5 p.m.
What is the Teen Leadership Committee (TLC)?
The TLC is an application based program with a limited number of accepted committee members. The TLC is a group of high school students that will meet monthly to:
- Learn Job-Related Skills
- Engage in Providing Feedback and Ideas
- Assist with Library Programs and Services
- Develop Community Connections
Who Can Apply?
Teens who are entering into Grades 9-12 and are looking to positively contribute to the goals and services of the Orillia Public Library. Teens can begin volunteering once they have graduated from Grade 8 and must be a current Orillia Public Library member. Don't have a membership? Find out how to get one. (Please note: We are only accepting teen volunteers within our service area.)
