Accessible Collections

Making our collections accessible is an important part of making the Library a resource for everyone. We offer a wide range of materials in accessible formats for persons with print disabilities. 

 Our material types include:

• Large print books

• DVD's (many have subtitle options)

• Books on CD

• DAISY discs (the Library also has a limited number of special DAISY audio players for loan.)

• Downloadable eBooks (which usually allow text size to be adjusted to suit individual needs)

• Downloadable eAudiobooks

• Online Databases (many of which include accessibility features such as text to speech and adjustable text size)

Materials can also be accessed through the Centre for Equitable Library Access (CELA).
