VolunTEENS: Wednesday, May 7

Are looking for a low commitment way to earn Community Involvement Hours at the Orillia Public Library? Then VolunTEENs is the perfect program for you! Each month we will have a registered workshop and/or presentation that you can attend and learn how to make a difference in your community!
Passionate about nature and eager to make a difference? The Couchiching Conservancy will share information about how you can reconnect with the environment, meet like-minded peers, and gain hands-on conservation experience through their Youth Stewardship Program.
Join us from 3-4:30 p.m. to learn about how you can become a steward of nature, and how you can help protect our planet for YOUR generation! PLEASE REGISTER. Meet in Library Program Room 2.
Teen Makerspace Night: Thursday, May 8
Get your Perler Bead fix by joining us in the Makerspace (2nd Floor) from 6-7 p.m. to make jewelry, keychains, characters or anything else you can imagine; no registration is required. All supplies are provided and are first come, first serve.
GC Teen OUTreach: Wednesday, May 14
This monthly drop-in group is for youth ages 12-19 who are looking for a supportive space to explore their identity and build community. Each month will feature a new activity to do together while chatting about life and getting to know one another. Light snacks and drinks will be provided.
No registration required; youth can come and go as they please. Find us in Library Program Room #2 from 3-5 p.m.
