FEBRUARY
They Love Me/They Love Me Not - Teen Bags: Friday, February 7
Celebrate Valentine’s Day- or not by picking up your choice of a 'They Love Me' bag including 2 YA Romance books, treats, and crafts, or a 'They Love Me Not' bag, including 2 Romance-free YA books, treats, and crafts. Available for pick up at the Check-Out Desk beginning Friday, February 7 while supplies last! (Must have a current library card.)
GC Teen OUTreach: Wednesday, February 12
This is a monthly drop-in group for youth ages 12-19 who are looking for a supportive space to explore their identity and build community. Each month will feature a new activity to do together while chatting about life and getting to know one another. Light snacks and drinks will be provided.
No registration required; youth can come and go as they please. Find us in Library Program Room 2 from 3-5 p.m.

(This program has been CANCELLED) Let lonely crafts find new love this Valentine’s season. Choose from a variety of leftover projects while enjoying snacks. There will be a craft to interest everyone! Join us for "Lonely Leftovers" from 6-7 p.m. in the Makerspace (2nd Floor). Registration is not required.

Are looking for a low commitment way to earn Community Involvement Hours at the Orillia Public Library? Then VolunTEENs is the perfect program for you! Each month we will have a registered workshop and/or presentation that you can attend and learn how to make a difference in your community!
Love media and marketing? Want to take a step towards addressing racism and discrimination in Simcoe County? “#ITSTARTS is a public awareness campaign designed to take a proactive step towards addressing racism and discrimination in Simcoe County. #ITSTARTS works to promote a unified community that encourages collective action against racism and discrimination.” (simcoe.ca)
Join us, on Wednesday, March 5 from 3-4:30 p.m., to create content for our #ITSTARTS campaign. Plan and create Instagram content, book lists, and displays. PLEASE REGISTER. Meet in Library Program Room 2.
Teen Escape Room in a Box: Tuesday, March 11
Teen ages 13-18 are invited to solve riddles, crack codes, and work together to complete an Escape Room in a Box! Meet in the Family Dept. Program Room on Tuesday, March 11 from 2-4 p.m. to help us escape the Cursed Labyrinth!
This program is drop-in and free.
