DECEMBER
Teen Movie Night Lock In: Friday, December 20
Start your holiday break in Halloween Town at our Teen Movie Night Lock-In, featuring The Nightmare Before Christmas on Friday, December 20 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Enjoy watching the movie, decorating ginger-dead people, eating snacks, and competing in themed activities!

JANUARY
GC Teen OUTreach: Wednesday, January 8
This is a monthly drop-in group for youth ages 12-19 who are looking for a supportive space to explore their identity and build community. Each month will feature a new activity to do together while chatting about life and getting to know one another. Light snacks and drinks will be provided.
No registration required; youth can come and go as they please. Find us in Library Program Room 2 from 3-5 p.m.

Teen Makerspace Night: Thursday, January 9
Don’t let the adults have all the bad art fun! No artistic abilities? No problem! Join us for Bad Art Night for Teens from 6-7 p.m. in the Makerspace (2nd Floor). Registration is not required. Supplies are first come, first serve.
Teen Exam Cram
Let the Orillia Public Library help you ace your exams with study space, snacks, supplies, and self-guided study break fun (and prizes). All high school students are welcome!
Where: Tables will be reserved near the Young Adult section and in the Fireplace Area on the 2nd Floor on the following dates and times:
- Monday, January 20 - Thursday, January 23 (2-8 p.m.)
- Monday, January 27 - Tuesday, January 28 (2-8 p.m.)

VolunTEENS: Thursday, February 6
Are looking for a low commitment way to earn Community Involvement Hours at the Orillia Public Library? Then VolunTEENs is the perfect program for you! Each month we will have a registered workshop and/or presentation that you can attend and learn how to make a difference in your community!
Want to get involved in Canada’s most iconic music event? Join us, on Thursday, February 6th from 3-4:30 p.m., to learn about the opportunities and perks of volunteering at the Mariposa Folk Festival. This presentation will give you first hand knowledge of how to be a part of this magical local event! Registration is required. Meet in Library Program Room 2.
