Saturday Special (All Ages)
Join us in the Family Dept. for an EXTRA SPECIAL Saturday! Every week, enjoy a fresh selection of self-guided activities we have created just for you! This drop-in program runs every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Special Saturday Special: Black History Month Edition
Drop by on February 22 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to celebrate Black History Month. Discover the rich history, culture, and achievements and inspiring stories of Black Canadians past and present. With interactive activities, art projects, and games, families are invited to explore, learn, create and celebrate together.
Family Art (All Ages)
Drop-in to the Family Dept. for a fun art project that all skill levels will enjoy! Let your creativity flow with different materials and inspiration each week on Sundays from 1-3:30 p.m. or Mondays from 4:30-7 p.m.

Homeschool Hangout (School Age)
Attention Homeschoolers! It's time to connect, learn and explore together! Each monthly program features a variety of hands-on activities, engaging projects, and play to encourage creativity and curiosity. Whether you’re new to homeschooling or a seasoned pro, come and discover the joy of learning with friends in this welcoming space.

Choose Your Own Adventure: The Wild Robot is Missing! (All Ages) |
Stop by the Family Dept. on Monday, March 10 or Tuesday, March 11 between 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m. to work on your wilderness survival skills while searching for our friend Roz the robot! You'll be able to 'Choose Your Own Adventure' with games, crafts, and challenges celebrating the book The Wild Robot! No registration is required. (Please note that the same activities will be available on Monday and Tuesday.) |

Stop by the Family Dept. on Wednesday, March 12 or Thursday, March 13 between 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m. to learn all about the OPL Sasquatch's secrets! You'll be able to 'Choose Your Own Adventure' with games, crafts, and challenges to help you make your very own Sasquatch Catching Kit!

Family Fun: Who Would Win? Family vs. Family (Ages 5+) |
Lion vs. Tiger? Tyrannosaurus Rex vs. Velociraptor? Family vs. Family? Join us in the Library Program Rooms on Wednesday, March 12 or Thursday, March 13 from 1:30-3 p.m. to test your family’s knowledge of some of the world’s fiercest creatures to determine Who Would Win!

Primary Escape Game: I Survived the Time Machine (Ages 6-8) |
Step into the time machine and try to survive a thrilling journey through history! In this exciting escape room challenge, young adventurers (ages 6-8) will travel to different eras, finding clues and solving puzzles. From ancient civilizations to the future; teamwork and clever thinking are the keys to escaping in time. This program will be held on Friday, March 14 from 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m. in the Library Program Rooms. REGISTER NOW! Tween Escape Game: I Survived the Egyptian Pyramid (Ages 9-12) |
Calling all tween adventurers! Step into an Ancient Egyptian pyramid and uncover its hidden secrets in this thrilling escape room event. As a team of daring explorers, you’ll decode hieroglyphs, solve puzzles, and unlock mysteries to find the lost mummy before time runs out! Can you survive the traps of the pyramid and uncover its secrets? This program will be held on Friday, March 14 from 1:30-3 p.m. in the Library Program Rooms. (A library membership is required to register; please note that caregivers of 9 year old attendees must stay in the building during this program.) |
March Break in the Makerspace: The Great Yeti Cover-Up! (Ages 4+) |
Oh no! A group of Yetis accidentally hopped on the wrong bus and ended up in Orillia! Now, they need to stay undercover and avoid sneaky Yeti hunters until they can catch a ride back to their frozen homeland. Join us to create your very own Yeti, give them a top-secret disguise, and craft a "fake ID" to keep them incognito. Can you keep your Yeti hidden long enough to make it home? |
