Saturday Special (All Ages)
Join us in the Family Department for an EXTRA SPECIAL Saturday! Every week, enjoy a fresh selection of self-guided activities we have created just for you! This drop-in program runs every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Family Art (All Ages)
Drop-in to the Family Dept. for a fun art project that all skill levels will enjoy! Let your creativity flow with different materials and inspiration each week on Sundays from 1-3:30 p.m. or Mondays from 4:30-7 p.m.
*Family Art on Monday, December 30 will have EXTENDED hours! Drop by anytime from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. to participate.

Holiday Break: Noon Year's Eve Party (All Ages)
Get ready to ring in the new year without losing any sleep! Drop-in to the Family Department on Tuesday, December 31 between 10:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. for crafts, dancing, and a special countdown to noon!
Holiday Break: Once Upon a Time in 2025 (All Ages)
Happy 2025! Join us for a super fun morning full of fairytale themed adventures. We'll have games, crafts, and lots of surprises, all wrapped up in the happily ever after magic of the new year!
Drop-in to the Family Dept. on Thursday, January 2 or Friday, January 3 between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. to participate.
Homeschool Hangout (School Age)
Attention Homeschoolers! It's time to connect, learn and explore together! Each monthly program features a variety of hands-on activities, engaging projects, and play to encourage creativity and curiosity. Whether you’re new to homeschooling or a seasoned pro, come and discover the joy of learning with friends in this welcoming space.
This drop-in program will be held in the Family Program Room on the second Tuesday of the month. Upcoming dates are:

Wacky Winter Games (All Ages)

Rocks and Rings: Indoor Curling Program (Best for Ages 5+)
- Egg Farmers Rocks & Rings by Curling Canada is a hands-on, indoor curling event where kids and families can learn the basics of this exciting Olympic sport - no ice required! Using special “rocks” and rings, participants will learn to curl stones and strategize in a series of fun, friendly challenges. Register your child to attend on their own or pick a timeslot to attend as a family:

Celebrate Family Literacy Day with us at Scout Valley! We have teamed up with Couchiching Conservancy for a unique walk in the woods, ending with cider & crafts! This free program will be held on Saturday, January 25 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m.

Zine Dream: Kid's Writing Workshop (Ages 8-14)
Calling all creative minds! Join us for a special young writers' workshop series where your stories, poems, and artwork will come to life in a published zine! Whether you're a seasoned writer or just getting started, this is your chance to see your work in print and share it with the world. Come write, create, and be part of something awesome! This program will be held in the Family Program Room.
